Unified Infrastructure Services, llc (UIS) announces the addition of Lance A. Smith to the UIS team. Mr. Smith assumes the role of Vice President of Operations.  Mr. Smith brings a strong background in data center and process management from firms such as ACS. Most recently he served as the North American Vice President of Data Center Operations for Atos Origin, an international IT outsourcing firm.

11/27/2007 - Dallas, TX
Unified Infrastructure Services, LLC (UIS) signs a long-term lease with data center partner Digital Realty Trust. The deal, estimated to be valued at $35,000,000 over eight years, adds 22,000 square feet of data center space to the UIS portfolio.

UIS sister company, UCF, to close on the purchase of a Dallas, TX 30,000 square foot data center facility currently occupied by a large internet company. Terms are undisclosed.

12/14/2007 - Dallas, TX
UIS sister company, UCF, to close on the purchase of 2020 Live Oak, Dallas, TX. A former TELCO hotel, UCF along with UIS, will re-purpose the building to provide raw and finished enterprise data center space. Terms for the 138,000 facility are undisclosed.
